Meet Your Massage Therapist
Hello! I'm Kate, a licensed massage therapist based in Michigan with a passion for healing and wellness. With over 18 years of experience in the field, I specialize in sports massage, pain management, and post-operative rehabilitation. My journey into massage therapy began with a personal experience: a sports injury to my ankle led me to discover the profound benefits of therapeutic massage.
I obtained my initial training at the Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer, Michigan, graduating in 2006 with a Certificate of Therapeutic Massage, followed by a Certificate of Advanced Practitioner of Massage Therapy in 2007. During that period, I attended clinicals that included massage for the Detroit Lions players, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor Swim Team, and IMG Academy of Bradenton, Florida. Eager to enhance my skills, I pursued specialized training in Ashiatsu Massage through DeepFeet Bar Therapy from 2019 to 2020, culminating in my Master Ashiatsu Therapy Certificate in 2020.
Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to helping clients recover from injuries and surgeries, as well as supporting their ongoing wellness goals. Whether you're an athlete striving for peak performance, recovering from surgery, or seeking relief from chronic pain, I am committed to providing personalized treatments that promote healing and rejuvenation.
