Business Policies

Late Cancellation and Missed Appointment:

In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50 percent of your appointment rate. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their missed appointment.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session cost.

Credit Card on File:

Our credit card on file program is a convenient method of paying for the portion of your services your insurance requires you to pay, such as copay, co-insurance, deductible, late or missed appointment fees, and uncovered services, such as massage. Your credit card information will be kept confidential and secure. This policy has been implemented to simplify and enhance your patient experience and to simplify our business practices. If you choose not to have your card on file, you will be required to prepay for your massage therapy services.

Gift Cards:

Physical gift cards must be present at time of redemption. Monetary value of the gift card does not expire, however, due to inflation, after one (1) year from the date of the gift card purchase, you may be required to pay the difference between the original purchase price of the gift card and the current price of the service. Gift card services may be combined, but cannot be broken down into smaller timed sessions. Gift cards are fully transferable.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used. Refunds will not be issued for services already rendered, missed appointments, or late cancellations. Please refer to our Late cancellation/Missed Appointment policy.

In the event of refund for service packages: Packages are offered at a discounted rate for the total of the advertised sessions. Unused packages will be refunded for the full purchase price to the original method of payment. Partially used packages will be refunded the purchase price minus the number of session used times the regular individual price of the service. For example, a package consists of five (5) hour massages for $325 and the regular purchase price of an hour massage is $75. If two massages are used and a refund is requested for the remaining 3 massages, the refund is calculated this way: $325 - (2 (1) hour massages @ $75 each) = $325 - $150 = $175 refund.

Inappropriate Conduct:

It is our goal to provide the highest level of care to our patients. Our staff is highly trained and has many years of experience in professional practice. At no time are inappropriate comments or physical contact (attempted, executed, or implied) toward our staff acceptable or tolerated. If this happens, your session will be terminated immediately, you will be responsible to pay for the full cost of your session, and you will not be allowed back in our establishment.

Arrival Instructions:

Please arrive five to ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to ensure a full massage session. We realize that emergencies and other scheduling conflicts arise and are sometimes unavoidable, however, advance notification allows us to fulfill other patient’s scheduling needs and keeps us operating at our most efficient level. You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours before the start time of your scheduled appointment. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.
